This antique treasure dates back to around late 19th century- early 20th century, the ornately engraved pattern is lovely to body of pencil . This retractable pencil bears stamps "9c" and initials "B.B" placed near the top. There is an etched ornate pattern to the top with a carnelian slice placed on top, this top section is rolled gold, whilst the body of pencil is 9ct gold, (tested). The sliding and propelling mechanism is fully functional, the tip (where lead comes out from) is a little bent. The ring attached will allow you to attach to something- perhaps to a chain if you wish to wear as pendant...
