Vintage 14ct Two Tone Gold Sapphire & Diamond Crossover Ring

A timeless and dazzling estate sapphire and diamond crossover ring from the late 20th century! Crafted in 14ct yellow and white gold settings, the ring adorns a beautiful earth mined sapphire at the center and three brilliant diamond accents either side. The sapphire exhibits a lovely mauve blue colour, the hue indicative of Ceylon (Sri Lankan) origin. It has a wonderful eye clean clarity and is beautifully faceted into a modified brilliant oval cut. Estimated weight of the sapphire is 0.65ct. Three fine white diamonds sparkle either side of the sapphire, adding a gorgeous contrast to the blue sapphire. Total weight of the six diamonds is 0.12cts. All stones rest in white gold classic claw settings with the diamonds stepping down slightly and forming a lovely triangular-shape shoulder. Sitting low to the finger, the ring is finished with a yellow gold crossover shank, accentuating the stones and elegant design beautifully! Stamped "585" denoting 14k gold.
