Pedro Castillo. Pedro Castillo worked for William Spratling at Taller de Las Delicias in the 1930’s and was a maestro with Hector Aguilar at Taller Borda beginning about 1939. At some point he also designed jewelry for Rafael Melendez. His work is usually numbered. Castillo started his own taller in the 1940s. He produced a wide range of quality jewelry.
Pedro Castillo is also known for his flatware, much of which was sold through Rancho Alegre. Some of Castillo’s latest work is also marked for Rubi Ramirez. Marks: PC; PC (conjoined). Eagle number: 1, 2, 3, 120
