A badge from the Royal Artillery made in 18kt gold and enamel. It features a canon topped with Edward's Crown of England. We can see the verse : -Ubique Quo Fas Et Gloria Ducunt- which means "Everywhere That Right And Glory Lead"; in Latin fas implies "sacred duty".
This badge is in very good condition. It might be handcrafted during the Forties. It was made by the jewellery CP&Co : Charles Perry & Co based in Chester. This lovely brooch weighs 6,2gr and it measures 35,76 (1,40) x 25,81(1,06) mm (inch.)
