Comments: This lovely ring comes directly from the Art Deco period. It is set with a deep navy blue Verneuil Sapphire. The Verneuil corundum was created in the 1830's and the blue synthetic Verneuil was commercialized at the very beginning of the 20th century. It presents a small chip on one corner. It is shouldered with rose cut diamonds. The ring was engraved 1203 inside the band. It was also tested as platinum. If you are a lover of the Art Deco design, this one is made for you.
