This ravishing ring features the two lovers drawn by the Parisian graphic designer Raymond Peynet. Les Amoureux were designed in 1942 and they become famous all around the world. The drawing was reproducing in many different forms : porcelain, scarves, dolls, medals, rings etc. They symbolizes the French roman. Here's the lover gave his heart to his sweatheart: how charming it is. The lady has a dove above her head. The ring is in very good condition. It weighs 5,1gr and it measures 18,8 (0,7) x 18,3 (0,7) x 14,9 (0,5'). The ring is marked with the French eagle's head and the maker's mark is clearly legible : C / a blackberry with leaves / M : for Murat, a French jeweler (Book : Dictionnaire des poinçons, p.40).
