Weight: 2 gr
Circa: Victorian, circa 1880
Metal: 18kt yellow gold
Hallmarks : French, the horse (used in France between 1838 and 1911)
Comments: We called this kind of earrings Poissardes, because they were worn by the fishwives of Paris and who played a significant role during the French Revolution. The ear wires had a typical s-shaped fish-hook style cross over and threaded through the ear back to front. One of the hollow bead presents a tiny hole. However it is in good antique condition.
Dimensions: Height: 20.06 mm / 0.78 mm
