Heritagem presents :
This lovely French necklace features 5 plaques decorated with daisies centered with a diamond and interspersed with seed pearls. Flowers have a strong link with symbols. The daisy symbolises cheerfulness and innocence but also purity and true love. There is an approximate total carat weight of 0,25ct for the old mine cut diamonds.
The necklace was extremely well hand crafted in France, since we have the French mark of the eagle's head for 18 karat yellow gold on the clasp plus the rhinoceross head . We call this kind of necklace : "collier draperie" because you can wear it as a piece of clothes and it drapes outstandingly your neck. It is in very condition for this period circa 1905. It is controlled with the French eagle's head and we can also see the counter's mark.
Weight : 22,6 gr Measurements :44 cm long (5 1inches). The plaques are 2cm large by 2cm long.
