This beautiful collar is made in 18kt yellow. We usually call this kind of necklace : Tubogas we can translate "gas pipe". According to the Lang Antique university, this forms a flexible and hollow tubular necklace that requires no soldering. It was very trendy during the 40s and it still remains very chic and fashion these days. It was made during the 40s. The collar weighs 46gr and it measures 38cm long / 14,96 inches long. The gold is smooth and shiny, it is very pleasant to wear.
The strap is secured and it was marked with two eagles' head, the French hallmark for 18kt gold and there is also the maker's mark : R / fleur de lys/ C for the French jewelry Rey Coquais, based in Lyon.
