This fabulous bracelet is a real testimony of Victorian period. There are 9 circles, centered with naturals pearls, surrounded with black enamel and with 4 cabochon cut rubies on the cardinal points for a total of 36 rubies. They are interspersed with pearls (72 in total). It is in very good antique condition. The bracelet weighs 32,97gr. The largest pearls were tested as natural saltwater. They are between 5.8 to 8.5 mm of diameter. It is accompanied with a certificate from the GCS Laboratory nº5776-5089 (London, UK), dated from the 07 /04/2016. It was made during the middle of the 19th century. Bracelets were the most popular item during the Romantic period. It was made during the reign of Napoleon III, Emperor of France from 1852- 1870.
The strap is marked with the French Owl for 18kt gold. It closes firmly with a snap and there is a security chain, marked with the wild board and the eagle's head.
