Heritagem presents :
This fascinating ring features a very rare cabochon gemstone commonly called a Cat's eye Chrysoberyl, weighed 2,20ct approximately. Its name comes from the Greek's word : khrusos and bêrullos which means a gold sparkling stone. Here, the right term for this cat's eye stone is Cymophane, also from the Greek's words : wave and glistening. The microscopic needles of rutile give this amazing light effect. This is the only gemstone we call Cat's eye.
This yellowish green Chrysoberyl is surrounded with 12 brilliant cut diamonds, weighing approximately 0,70ct. The mount is rather high and made in 18 karat white gold. The shoulders of the ring are adorned with fleur de lys and emphasize the charm of this ring. It bears the French's mark of 18 karat gold : the owl.
It weighs 7,5 gr and measures 28,54 x 20,33 x 15,50 mm. The ring size is 54 (EU) / 6,5 (US). Do not hesitate to ask if you want to re-size it. This ring will drive any curious fan of it !
