A fine English silver pincushion hallmarked during the reign of King George V. The hallmark has the silversmith's mark of
CSG & Co in a shield. This is the mark of Charles S. Green who established his business in Birmingham in 1905 assisted by
his wife Winifred. She was a talented artist who designed all the firm's early patterns. The remainder of the hallmarks has
an anchor for Birmingham and a date letter mark of 'm' for 1911.
The pincushion has a silver framework and 4 ball-shaped silver feet.The dark brown velvet pincushion is on the top. There is
a wooden base to the pincushion. The pincushion measures 3" x 2" x 0.75". It is in very good condition for its age with just a
few tiny dings here and there due to age.
