A Sweet And Useful Small Wooden 19th Century Sewing Stand
This little hardwood stand was made during the Victorian era. It measures only - 5" wide, 3" deep and to the top of the spool stand - 4".
The stand has two fixed pincushions and a decorative central stand with a fitting on the top to put a spool of thread on. Underneath is a little space for storing needle packets, scissors etc.
The stand is in good condition for its age with a very nice patina, the tops of the pincushions have a little age wear but are still very useable. The central spool holder sits in a little decorative tray which could be used to store pins.
A very pretty and useful little Victorian sewing stand.
