An interesting and rather lovely Victorian bookmark designed for use with a bible but could be used on any book where
you wanted to mark several pages at once.

The top little barrel-shaped holder is made from bone (bovine) and from it descend four red silk ribbons. These look to
be original and attached to three of the ribbons are bone (bovine) markers with a word in Latin upon them. There should
be a fourth marker but this is now missing but you could add one of your own.

The bookmark has a length, including markers of 6.5" and is in good condition for its age but the ribbons are a little delicate.
