A fine 19th century Mauchline ware thread spool holder.

This little thread holder is made from Sycamore and has a fine transfer on the lid of Lake Windermere in the beautiful
Lake District National Park in the North West of England.

Lake Windermere is the largest natural lake in England and is more than 11 miles in length.

The thread holder is in excellent condition and measures 2" high x 2.25" wide. The top comes off and inside there is a
spool of white Arderns Crochet thread. There is a small hole in the side of the holder which the thread goes through for
access.

A fine little thread pot in excellent condition.
