Discovery Antiques
is now SOLDA fine 19th-century bone lace bobbin, named and dated with Samuell picked out in black dots on one side and Harris 1833
picked out in dots on the other side. I love the way Samuell is spelt, at that time so many things were spelt just as they
sounded.
The bobbin is made from bone (bovine) and is in good condition for its age. The spangles at the end consist of 2 small
white beads, 2 cranberry square cut beads and a very pretty painted pink and white top bead.
