According to a very nice lady who knows lots about Madame Alexander dolls, "This doll was the first Kelly doll but the head went on to be used for Elise in 1962 and 1963 and for some reason is called the Marybel head, after the Marybel Gets Well doll, instead of the Kelly head. She is definitely an Elise and was used for the 1962 bride with straight bangs and again in 1962 and 1963 for the ballerina and for a few others like the riding outfitted doll". The very nice lady, guesses that this doll was a former bride from the flip of the hairdo. Also, please notice the backwards date of 1958. Her tutu is not by MA. She is in very nice condition with a few age marks.
