Antique Rust Kazak Persian Area Rug Wool Circa 1920
Kazak rugs are woven more coarsely, their pile being 1–2 cm high. Typically geometric in pattern Kazaks tend to be red, yellow or gold and blue in color. The Kazak are likewise famous in their region for their widespread influences that have inherently influenced their designs. The rugs are still made by the people of Hazara located in Pakistan, who regularly practice hand-knotted works.
