Stunning 970 sterling silver amethyst set. Maker Antonio Pineda, Taxco Mexico 1950-60s. Necklace, bracelet and two pair of earrings.
Overall in excellent condition, a few stones with very, very tiny nicks and faint surface scratches.
Provenience: According to previous owner this set was a gift from fellow ambassadors, to the Swedish ambassador in Mexico City on her birthday. Unaware of her preferences regarding earrings they gave her both studs and screw backs. We can not confirm this provenience with all certainty.
