Georgian, 1785 A stunning Georgian navette memorial ring. The head, behind glass, features a white enamelled urn sitting atop a plinth with the words "She Was Beloved" - all accented with rose cut diamonds. The blue background is finished in vitreous blue guilloché enamel, and the frame displays excellent hand chased detailing. To the reverse we find the dedication: "Eliz. Terry died 9 Oct. 1785 aged 40". It's terribly sad, and insanely beautiful.
