Art Deco, c.1920
This stunning antique cluster ring dates to the late Edwardian period, and is home to a, exquisite central emerald – of excellent colour – and a 1.72ct cluster of brilliant cut diamonds. The ring is modelled in 18k white gold, with the stones set in platinum and finished with fine millegrain detail. Millegrain was often used in Art Deco era gem-setting –it translates from French as “thousand grains”, and was developed in the late 19th century.
