Here is a 1930's black sheer silk chiffon dress with a beige satin collar and belt. It has a two layer Peter Pan collar, bottom layer black and the top beige. There are covered buttons all the way down to the waist but only the first size open and close with snaps. The rest of the button are sewn on a strip that is detached from the dress. There is also a side opening with snaps. The sleeves are the best part of the dress. They are quite long and have narrow pleats so the sleeves puddle at the cuffs. The cuffs have elastic but it is pretty stretched out by now. There is a belt that is black on one side and beige on the other. I'm not really sure how it is worn since it only has one snap to hold it together. I would say that the dress is a size L or XL. The measurements are Armpit to armpit 45", Waist 32", Sleeve length 22", Sleeve width 10" across back of shoulders Across back of shoulders 18". The belt measures 53" X 7 1/2" and tapers down to 6 3/4" in the middle. Condition: The thread that the hook goes into at the very top is broken. There are some holes in the front below the collar and also on the back of the dress. There are a few seams to be resewn one about 2" long.
