Here is a very old hand made Mexican sterling and green onyx bracelet. These green onyx (sometimes known as Mexican jade) face masks are reminiscent of the Mayan people. It was made sometime before 1948 when the eagle assay mark came into use. It measures 8" in length and is 7/8" wide. The back of the clasp is fully hallmarked. The only words that I can make out are Hecho En Mexico. The bracelet is in very nice condition with several dents on the hollow balls. The weight is 46.69 grams.
