Wachenheimer Brothers was based in Providence, Rhode Island from 1905 until 1934. This pin / pendant is from their "Real Stone Jewelry" line. It is a round piece of sodalite set into a sterling setting. Four sets of double prongs hold the stone in place. It is stamped on the back Wachenheimer Sterling. It has a tiny bale at the top so that it can be also worn as a pendant. It may need a larger one in order to put a chain through. At the bottom part of the pin is a what looks like a slot that was once part of a tab in slot closure. These piece may have been a clasp for a necklace at one time and was then made into a pin / pendant. It measures 1 1/8" in diameter. Very nice condition.
