This is a very interesting pin. A carved gray smokey quartz turtle sits on a sterling base with a decorative edge. The turtle is held in place by long heavy prongs. I have seen these types of prongs before on Mexican pieces but I can't say if this is one of them as it is only stamped 925 in several places on the back. It measures 1 5/16" X 1" and the weight is 8.70 grams. The height of the pin is 1/4". Very nice condition.
