This slip is quite old maybe from the 1930's or 40's. It is made of rayon taffeta which is heavy and stronger than the nylon that slips are made of today. It is quite plain and has a 7" side opening that closes with a hook and eye. There may have been more than one at one time. The straps are not adjustable as today's are. This slip was probably made to go under a particular dress. I would say that it is a size large. The measurements are Armpit to armpit 39", Waist 36", Hips 40", Length from front of neck 36" and strap length 9". There are several tiny holes on the tops of the straps where snaps were once sewn on. Along the edge of the opening is slight fraying as if there was a hook sewn there at one time.
