Many people associate the name DeVilbiss with perfume bottles but they actually started out making medical devices such as this one. This is a powder blower with an adjustable tip that diffuses powder and dates back to the early 1900's. The original box is still intact but has some age damage. On the metal top of the blower is stamped DeVilbiss 36 Toledo, O, USA. The squeeze ball and stem detach from the metal part. The ball is still in very nice condition with no hardening or cracks. There is still some powder left in the bottle. When put together the blower measures 11" from end to end. A very nice addition to a medical device collection.
