Here is a pair of long taupe colored 1920's silk gloves made by Fownes which was started in Great Britain in 1777. They later branched out to other countries including the USA where these gloves were made. They are silk jersey so they have a tiny bit of stretch to them. They have ten rows of stitching from the cuffs to the forearm. The opening closes with two fabric covered snaps. They are a stated size 5 1/2. From the tip of the middle finger to the cuff measures 21 1/4". Across where they snap measures 2". The width at the cuff is 4 1/2". There is quite a bit of staining and several holes on the fingers. There is also a slit in the silk near the cuff on the left hand glove. I have not tried to clean them.
