This is a very interesting pin / pendant made of 950 silver, marcasites and turquoise. The center features a cutwork vermeil gazelle with a thistle. The subject matter dates it to around the 1920's or 30's. The 950 hallmark states that the silver is purer than standard sterling which is 925. This concentration of sterling was used mostly in Europe. It measures 1.50" in diameter and is in excellent condition. It has a bail on the back so it can also be worn on a chain.
