A Fukusa is a woven square of silk that is traditionally used to cover a ceremonial gift. It is a combination of gift wrap and a greeting card. I have also seen them made into pillows or used as a table cover. The background color is dark purple fading to lavender. There are five large cream colored flowers. Two of the sides are rolled under and stitched and the other two are not. Excellent condition. There are some water spots from my iron that I'm sure would come out when cleaned.
