The Mojud Hosiery Company was in business from 1926- 1972. These never worn stockings are from the 1940's. Not sure if they are silk or not. One pair is a dark brown and the other a taupe color. They have a fully reinforced foot made for the types of shoes worn in that day. At the top of one stocking of each pair is stamped in white Thigh Mold Mojud Utility Sheer Made In USA. The tag attached to the top reads "Mojud 901 Size 9 1/2 Variety Save this ticket. It gives the information you need to duplicate these stockings. (OVER). It's economical to buy 3 pairs of the same shade at one time. Ask the salesperson. Mojuds are featured in Vogue and Good Housekeeping." The one stocking of the dark brown pair has two holes that I have shown in the photo. Since they have never been worn these must be moth holes. Not sure if the box belonged with these particular stockings or not but it will be included with the purchase.
