Both sides of this enamel cigarette case have been hand painted and feature a mosque on the lid and a floral design on the back. The hinge has a spring mechanism so it opens by holding the tab on the front left bottom while lifting the tab on the right hand side of the lid. The elastic straps that held the cigarettes at one time are long gone but the two small rings are still there. The metal is silver on copper. There is verdigris on the back hinge and some on the inside hinge. The enamel is in quite good condition with the exception of a tiny chip on the upper left hand side of the lid. There is a very shallow dent on the upper right hand side of the back. The case measures 4" X 3 1/8".
