This dress has such great details and also a wonderful feel to it. There is no fabric label but I would say that it is a rayon that feels a lot like silk. Drapes beautifully. The neckline is a V style with a lace insert. No seam between sleeve and bodice. Darts at the bust. Gussets at the underarms. Attached narrow belt with bow at waist--closes at back with a snap. Below natural waist is a drop waist with slight gathering right and left of center. Large pleat from dropped waist down to hem. 22" metal zipper down the back with hook and eye above it. Sheering below the dropped waist. Fully lined with navy silk. Designer label and store label inside. Basting tape used on hem and sleeves. Excellent condition.
I would say that it is a size 4-6. The flat measurements are as follows: Armpit to armpit 36", Waist 29", Hips 37", Length from back of neck 38" and Across back of shoulders 16". Ben Barrack was the owner of a Seventh Avenue fashion house that specialized in mid-priced clothes for petites.
