1960's Dan Millstein Black Wool Dress and Jacket Suit With Brown Fox Trim

Here is a dress and jacket suit by Dan Millstein New York Paris. He was a coat and suit designer from the 1940's through the 1960's. This suit is from the 1960's. It is made of black wool and has a dark brown fur trim along the bottom of the dress. Both the jacket and the dress are fully lined. The dress has four decorative black rhinestone buttons down the left side of the dress. There is a 21" zipper down the back with a hook and eye above. The jacket is collarless and buttons on the left hand side with four black rhinestone buttons and two snaps. There are some moth holes on the jacket but not on the dress. The lining at the armpits of the dress is torn on both sides and on one side of the jacket. The measurements are: DRESS: Armpit to armpit 35", Waist 32", Hips 35", Length from back of neck 39 1/2" and Across back of shoulders 15 1/2". JACKET: Armpit to armpit 38", Waist 36", Around bottom 39", Sleeves 20", Length from back of neck 24 1/4" and Across back of shoulders 16". There is a 4" long area where the fur needs to be sewn down on the dress.
