Here is a 1960's navy blue dress with matching jacket by Boston Maid. This was a small factory located in Boston that manufactured women's wear on site. There is no fabric content label but it feels like polyester. The dress is sleeveless with an elastic waist and a narrow belt. It closes in the front with a single button. The jacket has a double layer Peter Pan collar and is worn open except for a hook and eye at the top. The sleeves are sheerer than the rest of the jacket and have elastic at the cuffs. The set is a stated size 12 but I would say that it is more of an 8 or 10. The measurements are:
DRESS: Armpit to armpit 36", Waist 26" (elastic), Length from back of neck 39 1/2" and Across back of shoulders 19 3/4". CONDITION: One tiny hole near the button.
JACKET: Armpit to armpit 39", Around bottom 36", Sleeve length 23", Length from back of neck 19" and Across back of shoulders 16". CONDITION: Some fraying on the top layer of the collar and the hook needs to be sewn down.
