Here is a modified plaid circle skirt from the 1960's. The reason I say "modified" is that a true circle skirt does not have any seams. This skirt has four seams but still has a very large sweep. It is made of 35% wool and 65% polyester. Gathered at the waist band in the front it closes with a zipper in the back and a button above. There are two curved inset pockets. The plaid pattern matches up almost perfectly at the seams. It is a size XS. The measurements are: Waist 27", Hips 38", Length 29" and Sweep is 119". I have washed it and it came out beautifully.
