Here is a Mexican sterling pin / pendant made in Taxco. The inlaid stones are lapis, turquoise and something else that I can't identify. Within the inlay is a geometric design made with sterling wire. Five paddles dangle from the disk. It is stamped on the back Sterling Taxco Mexico with the artist's initials TCM. There is also the eagle assay mark number 3 designating that it was made in Taxco. It has a bail so it could also be worn on a chain. The swivel clasp works well and is secure. The pin measures 1 5/8" X 2 3/8" and weighs 14.31 grams. Excellent condition.
