If you love old fancy glass, this is a true find -- two individual nut bowls decorated with the popular poppy flower of the era, Cambridge Glass Company's "Gloria" etch in Gold Krystol, a pale yellow color. The Gloria etch was manufactured between 1931 and 1958. Most Gloria items are found on the #3400 blank, as are these two little bowls, the #3400/71, 4-footed, tab handled, nut.
Although originally manufactured as individual nut bowls, they would be ideal at place settings for a pat of butter, dollop of sour cream, cocktail sauce, salt ....
Both are embossed on the base with the Cambridge C within a triangle logo. They have little tab handles and four toed feet with bases factory polished to a mirror shine! They measure about 2-3/4" from the outsides of the tab handle to handle and 1-3/8" tall.
The lush poppy pattern surrounds the entire bowl.
Both are in pristine condition -- no damage whatsoever.
Packed with care to assure a safe arrival.
