The Hazel-Atlas Glass Company manufactured a complete line of embossed range shakers. This is the green glass pepper shaker -- I also have the green embossed salt in my shop.
Back in the '30s these large range shakers were used at the stove for cooking. It measures 4-1/2" tall and 2-3/8" square at the base with rounded shoulders and angled corners. There's a stippled panel in the front with PEPPER in caps. It has a tin cap that twists on.
No damage to the glass and no cloudiness. The lid has dents, but not too bad, and it twists off and on easily.
