Pear Optic was the original name given to this pattern which has been nicknamed Thumbprint by collectors.
It's an old Federal Glass pattern and a set of salt and pepper shakers is hard to find. The color is called Spring Green, its first issue of colored glass, dated 1926. Green was phased out in 1936. (ref. "Colored Glassware of the Depression Years 2" by Weatherman)
The footed shakers measure 3-3/4" tall with a pattern consisting of two panels of ovals separated by a clear panel, each bordered by a thin raised band.
The shakers are a green uranium glass that fluoresces and has a vivid glow when exposed to a black light.
There are no chips, cracks or other damage to the glass. No cloudiness. The lids are excellent with no dents or corrosion.
Packed with care to assure a safe arrival.
