This lovely green glass cheese dish with cover was manufactured by the elegant Cambridge Glass Company between 1936 and 1952 and identified as their Item #980.
The dish measures 4-3/4" wide and 2-3/4" high. No chips, cracks or other damage. A few bubbles in the glass. Has a pretty etched flower and leaf design on the lid.
Originally manufactured as a cheese dish, it would be ideal for use as a powder or trinket dish. On the desk it could hold spare change or paperclips.
