19th century antique apothecary glass medicine jar in excellent condition. The glass bottle features a hand painted enameled label which reads: FERR. OXYD. SACCH. This stands for Iron Oxide Saccharine. The jar is a hand blown clear crystal glass bottle and contains no chips or cracks. There is the number 6425 etched on the bottom of the jar. Would make a lovely addition to a medical collection or display window.
Circa: 19th century
Size: 5 inches tall, 8 1/2 inches in circumference & 2 inch wide lid
