This beautiful more than 140 years old Steel Engraving on Linen is a Souvenir from the World Fair 1873 in Vienna. In the center it depicts the "Rotunde" (at that time the biggest dome in the world). The inscription says: "Erinnerung an die Wiener Weltausstellung - 1873 - Der Weltausstellungs- Palast in Wien" which means as much as "Memory of the World fair of Vienna - 1873 - The Worldsfair Palace in Vienna".

It is a very rare find - many Souvenirs from this World Exposition have been destroyed within the last 142 years - I couldn't find another one of these beautiful steel engravings on fabric.

Condition: It is in good antique condition - 3 tiny rips - (please see photos)

Measurements: 21 1/2" wide by 18" inch tall

Plese feel free to ask any questions.
