This magnificent Meißen Pomp Relief Plate is completely decorated with a Oak leaf Cluster- including acorns and branche. The Decor is elevated in a Reliefand was originally completley decorated with Gilt. It was made in the 19th Century (between 1815-1860). The beautiful pattern by the famous German Porcelain Manufactor was first introduced in the late 18th Century. It is marked on reverse with the famous crossed sabers mark (the specific design of this mark was used between 1815-1860)
Measures approximately 11" diameter and 2" tall.
Condition: It is in Good Condition without any cracks. No visible chips (there is one antique chip on the stand - appears to be polished out before first delivery). Most of the original Gilt is worn off. (PLEASE SEE PICTURES - Shadow in the images seen is not actual discoloration, but is a reflective distortion)
