This magnificent Baroque Silver Creamer is a beautiful Silver Art piece. It dates back to the 18th century. Featuring Elaborate Silver Details and Decoration with Floral designs. It is a very fine handcrafted piece of silver and. It is a Continental European piece - most likely from Germany.
It is marked OF and OF. In the 18th century the silvermarks in some countries - like Germany - wasn't unified. Rather than using the System of permille they used the Lot System. 12 Lot (750 permille of Silver) was the most commonly used alloy in the 18th Century and was often not mentionend on the stamp. The City Hallmarks guaranteed the minimum purity of 12 Lot.
Condition: It has a beautiful patina which could be professionaly removed. There are some age related tiny dents - nothing mayor. The condition is very good. (please see pictures)
