This beautiful Ink Drawing of the Castle of Königsberg in Prussia was drawn by W. Jopp. It is a very detailed drawing of the famous castle. It dates back to the end of the 19th Century. The castle, dating as far back as 1257, was greatly enlarged and refortified in several stages during the 16th to 18th centuries. During World War 2 it was said to be the hiding place of the Amber Room until it got destroyed between 1944-1945. The drawing comes in a beautiful ebonized wood frame.
Condition: Good condition with nice color and light tanning giving it a vintage look. Please see pictures
