This amazing set of two 19th century antique apothecary glass medicine jars / bottles is in excellent condition. Each glass bottle features a hand painted enameled label. One reads Agaricus albus pilv. nr 30 and the other Chinini sulfas. This stands for the mushroom Tricholoma album, commonly known as the white knight and Quinine sulphate an antimalarial Drug. The jars are made out of brown glass. Would make a lovely addition to a medical collection or display window.
