This beautiful wooden and Metal Printing Block or stereotype was made around 1880 for the Print Shop of the Monastery in Altötting in Bavaria (Germany). It is a steel engraving. It shows a beautiful picture of a Saint with a halo and the Motto "Vivat Jesus". It looks great as a decoration, but can still be used to print.

Vivat Jesus means as much as "May Jesus live".

Provenance : Altötting - Germany

Size : Printing Block: circa 3 by 2 1/2 Inch
