This set of two amazing engravings was made in the 19th Century. The zoological Prints show different reptiles. One engraving shows different Snakes like a Rattle Snake, a Common European Viper, an Indian Cobra and Agkistrodon. The other engraving depicts different Lizards including an Iguana, a monitor lizard, a legless squamate, a Chameleon, a Slow Worm & an Ocellated lizard . The steel engravings are very detailed and have the German & Latin name of each animal.

Condition: Very good condition with nice color and light tanning giving it a vintage look.
