This magnificent Meißen Meissen Blue Onion pattern is decorated with the famous decor on the inside and outside. The Decor was beautifully handpainted in Cobalt Blue. It was made in the 19th Century (between 1815-1890). The beautiful pattern by the famous German Porcelain Manufactor was first introduced in the late 18th Century. It is marked on reverse and in the pattern with the famous crossed sabers mark. It could be used as a serving piece or displayed as a stunning example of Meissen porcelain.
Measures approximately 8 1/2" diameter and 3" tall.
Condition: It is in Very Good Condition without any cracks or chips. The sword hallmark has 4 lines engraved, which was made right after production because some of the paint causes some bubbles in the decor during firing. (PLEASE SEE PICTURES - Shadow in the images seen is not actual discoloration, but is a reflective distortion)
